Clothing

Fred’s clothes list: waterproof jacket, x2 short sleeve t-shirts; a thermal long sleeve, a wicking long sleeve, x2 pairs of socks, x3 pairs pants, x2 vest tops (1 with support for walking), pair of walking trousers, bikini that doubles as walking bra, pair of shorts, x2 pairs of leggings, favourite travel ‘dress’, cap, buff, goggles, pair of gloves, my Vibram shoes and a pair of walking boots – not that much for 2 months, what do you think?

Update 2015: x1 short sleeve t-shirt, x1 bra, x1 pair of shorts, x2 pairs of socks (x1 seal skins; x1 warm and dry), 3/4 length capri bottoms, walking trousers, 1 long sleeve t-shirt, 1 hooded top, 1 pair leggings, cap, buff, gloves, woolly hat, waterproof jacket, x2 pairs pants.

I’ve switched from walking boots to trainers, I wear Altra trainers: http://www.northernrunner.com/shoes-c133/natural-or-midfoot-running-shoes-c238/altra-lone-peak-1-5-trail-shoes-black-red-mens-p2339  They don’t last as long as the walking boots, but they dry fast and they are super comfortable.  Blokey swears by Inov8 trainers: http://www.peteblandsports.co.uk/products/inov-8-roclite-295-black-blue-white.htm?brand=1
